Sharing on Mano

Sharing

Moments, stories, thoughts, and events: what to post and how it shows up for you and friends.

Mano is for real life updates, not reposts or noise. You choose when and where something appears, usually tied to a place or event.

Types of posts

  • Moments: photos or clips from something you are doing, often at a place.
  • Stories: short-lived captures from the map camera flow.
  • Thoughts: text (and optional media) you want to share.
  • Events: something happening at a time and place, for you or others to discover.

Typical flow

  1. Open create from the map or profile.
  2. Pick the type of post and attach a place if it fits.
  3. Add media or text, adjust privacy if the screen offers it, then publish.

What makes Mano different

There are no meme reposts or endless algorithmic clips. Posts are meant to be useful or meaningful: a cafe you loved, a pop up tonight, a note to friends. That keeps the app calm and map-first.
